How scans are counted
Every dynamic code passes through a short qrmora.com link before reaching your destination. Each time someone opens it, we add one to that day’s counter and note whether the phone is an iPhone, Android or another device.
Link previews from WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and similar apps, and search engine robots, are redirected but not counted, so the number reflects real people.
What you can measure
With one code per placement you can compare where people actually scan:
- Which flyer, poster or packaging works better.
- Which branch, table or event gets more scans.
- Which days of the week have more activity.
- Whether a campaign is still working weeks after it started.
Privacy by design
We do not use cookies or store IP addresses, locations or identifiers of the people who scan. You get totals, not profiles. If you also want campaign data in Google Analytics, add UTM parameters to the destination link.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about creating, customizing and using your QR codes.
Didn’t find what you were looking for?
Write to usCan I see who scanned my code?
No, and that is on purpose: we only count scans per day and type of phone, without personal data.
How far back can I see statistics?
The dashboard shows the last 90 days per day and the total since you created the code.
Can I track scans of a static QR code?
Not directly, because the phone opens the content without passing through anyone. Use a dynamic code, or add UTM parameters to the link and check visits in Google Analytics.
Are repeated scans by the same person counted?
Yes. Each scan is counted, because we do not identify people. Link previews and robots are not counted.
